The Sanctuary Outpost

Located in a secluded Bay on the Aulneau peninsula near our old logging and moose hunting areas, resides a beautiful and cosy log cabin perfect for your next getaway. Nestled amongst a beautiful and healthy Forest it’s the ideal place to spend your days fishing, hiking the trails, blueberry, picking, Fishing and telling stories by the campfire or just relaxing.

Imagine having this place all to yourself in the wilderness of the Aulneau peninsula on Lake Of The Woods.
With a very desirable feature of the sanctuary outpost is its direct access to a Portage Trail leading into Obabikon Lake, which connects to the south end of Lake Of The Woods.

• Accommodations for up to six people
• Solar, electricity, hot and cold, running water
• Cooking facilities
• Comfortable sunroom overlooking the bay
• A small Bunky cabin with two twin beds
• Shower house

• You’re sleeping bags and pillows
• Only accessible by boat; it’s recommended that you bring your own boat, or you may rent a small one here.

• We will meet you at our parking lot on Main shore and help you navigate through the network of islands to the outpost
• Price is $350 Canadian per night
• Small boat rental is $100 per day

• Because we are on an island reservations need to be made in advance.
• A deposit of $400 per cabin is required to secure you reservation
• When your deposit and information slip are received in the mail your reservation will be reserved.
• Remember that mail to Canada requires extra postage.
• Payment can be made by Check, Travelers check, U.S. or Canadian cash.  Fair exchange will be given on u.s. money.
One free trip to and from resort provided at arrival and departure.
• Additional trips $30 per trip.
